Volunteering

Samak island is intended to be a place where anybody who wants to change her or his life or simply live as a more conscious human being can find a place to stay and potentially become part of our community. Volunteering and internships are available, which will let motivated individuals adjust the costs of their stay to fit their personal budgets and/or offer their skills to help us further develop our island project in exchange. Should you fall in love with our place and community, longterm stays are a great opportunity for digital nomads and those who can work remotely. A personal application process, including a short interview and filling out a questionnaire, is required for all potential volunteers/interns, to allow us to understand your motivation and skills, see how to integrate you into island activities and customize the right scenario for you.
